Learn More about Sober Living in Rhode Island

Sober Living in Rhode Island is a growing industry and Rhode Island is certainly no exception to that. As you probably already know, Rhode Island is a densely forested area surrounded by oceans and rivers. This natural landscape makes it a perfect location for people to live and work. Sober Living in Pawtucket is a thriving industry and there are several sober neighborhoods that are located around the state. In this article, we will explore some of the possibilities for living and working in Rhode Island sober. Pawleys Island is home to one of the nation’s premier residential treatment programs. House of Refuge is a residential treatment center for persons suffering from addiction. As part of the House of Refuge program, an addict is assigned a housekeeper who is responsible for making sure the addict is able to maintain a clean, sober living environment. If an addict isn’t keeping up this lifestyle, they may be referred to a halfway house. The halfway house is still a residential treatment facility, but it is a residential environment where the addict works to complete their recovery. A number of Rhode Island cities contain a population of at least one halfway house and many of these cities have very active sober living programs in addition to their other recovery services. Pawleys Island is also home to several halfway houses, each with its own set of residents. One of these homes is the Blue Heron residence on the North Shore. The residents of this sober living community receive treatment from certified and experienced counselors and have access to a variety of services and activities. This residential treatment center offers several different services, including a day spa, fitness center, pool, bike and walking path system, babysitting, tutoring program and a resident medic program. This sober living program also coordinates with the Rhode Island Department of Health and has a number of physicians on staff that provide medical treatment if necessary.
